A llittle bit of Audrey
For small girls such as myself the slash or boat neck dress or top is very elongating and flattering, and, especially when teamed with three-quarter length sleeves, gives a Hepburn-esque instant class injection to a look. Here's one from French Connection, currently on ASOS for about 47 euros and on Ebay currently being auctioned for about 3 euros!

I'm not a giant Karen Millen fan, she tends to lean dangerously towards the "mutton dressed as lamb" brigade but she definitely makes clothes to flatter the (normal) female figure.
